Tenants were excited to have a look through their new homes at the official blessing and opening today of the Nelson Tasman Housing Trust's latest housing development. Eight affordable rental homes were opened at 163 Kawai St, Nelson and the tenants will move in over the next few days. A grant from the Nelson City Council will enable the Nelson Tasman Housing Trust to press ahead with a planned development of 10 new affordable rental homes in Dodson Valley, Atawhai. The council has approved a grant of $1 million to the project, from its Housing Reserve fund.
