How often do houses become available?

We own and manage 55 rental homes in Nelson and Richmond.

 

Our focus is on providing long-term tenancies, because we understand how important stable housing is for everyone.

 

This means that our homes do not become vacant very often. Please bear this in mind if you apply - it is unlikely there will be a home available immediately.


Am I eligible to apply?

Our homes are for people on low-to-modest incomes. To qualify you must either be on the Ministry of Social Development Housing Register, or if you don't qualify for the register, your income needs to be under the median local household income (which  is currently $1150 a week for a single adult or $1850 for a family).

 

To apply to be placed on the Housing Register call Work and Income on 0800 673 468 and ask for a "housing assessment."
